What's on?

Canberra just celebrated its 99th birthday. So this time of year it’s usually a happening place. There’s something on every weekend in March. This time we hit Canberra’s newest festival, Enlighten; braved Skyfire in the rain; and joined 23,000 people at the Airport Open Day. To our out-of-town family and friends: next time you fancy a visit to the Nation’s Capital, the Canberra Day holiday week in March is the time to come. Next year should be an exciting one as it will be the centenary of Canberra.

In other news, the 7th of March was when Catherine took approximately her first 8 steps. It was after her shower when she decided to stand up and walk to Mummy. She beat her brother by a month at 21 months, but still has ways to go. She’ll happily walk when holding on to our hand, but would rather shuffle around (despite all her bruising) to move from place to place. Nevertheless, more mobile times are ahead of us!
