Field museum

We woke up to a beautiful sunny day. But it was slightly cooler than yesterday. We're still slightly jetlag (2 hours ahead from L.A.) so it's been a challenge getting the kids out of bed in the morning to make it in time for breakfast at our hotel. After trying to get the kids fueled up, we headed out to The Field Museum (Natural History).

We took the train to the end of Grant Park and walked about 5-10 minutes to Museum Campus (Natural History, Planetarium and Aquarium). We were suprised by the grandness of The Field Museum. It seemed to go on forever.

This time we had a snack first before checking out the exhibits. We've noticed that Catherine is more challenging in the morning and Nicholas is more challenging in the afternoon. The snack helped manage their energy levels for the first part. Nicholas' grumpiness later indicated it was time for lunch. And we finally had a short but nice break at the PlayLab while the kids both played freely in the Pueblo for a while.
