Yesterday we visited my old work place, The Getty Center. I left there 7 years ago. It was nice and weird to see so many familiar faces. The kids enjoyed it there, especially since we met up with friends. Catherine also made a friend with a musician who was there to practice playing on the travertine tile wall for a concert the following day.
We were at the Getty for nearly 5 hours and we still managed to head to The Grove for dinner. We drove through heavy traffic. It took us 45 minutes to drive 7 miles. The kids had so much energy still. They loved seeing the
fountain. Dinner was at The Farmers' Market. We had pizza and then donuts
for dessert.
