Enlighten

It's all happening in Canberra now that March has arrived. It's officially autumn but summer is still sticking around. The weather was perfect for a night out to experience the Night Noodle Markets and explore the Enlighten festival. We ate bbq pork skewers from Hoy Pinoy, ramen fried chicken and miso butter popcorn from Everybody Loves Ramen, yakisoba from Kiyamachi Tei and the Cake Smash (watermelon strawberry cake and gelato!) from Black Star Pastry X N2 Gelato. Ironically, the yakisoba was pretty ordinary out of everything else.

We watched an acrobatic show afterwards which killed time waiting for the sun to set and the lights to come on. Kids enjoyed the show, sitting at the very front and participating in high-fives. They worked off some more energy by dancing to the music after the show.

Once the lights came on, we walked the Parliamentary Triangle and admired the different projections on the buildings. Found glowing fairy floss at Questacon before our last stop at the National Library and home.
