Winter can still feel quite long in Canberra even with an escape in between. The National Arboretum (above) is one of our favourite places to go for a walk or just sit and contemplate. We are lucky to have this beautiful place so close to us.

This month we have been in our current home for 12 years. We moved in on the 11th of August 2007. On the 25th of August 2016, we rescued Comet and at the end of the month it was 13 years ago we packed up and left Los Angeles to begin our new life in Canberra.
